Seventythree Foundation is a new social enterprise that works with communities living on the periphery, to reconnect with their culture, interpret the challenges facing them and rediscover their sense of purpose.

Gathering and processing knowledge, developing tools for empowerment and liberation.

Global experience, but with deep roots in our partnership communities

We nurture transformational examples of environmental stewardship – starting at the level of communities – that prioritise compassion, justice and equity; that alleviate fear and anxiety, and that channel negative emotions into positive action.

We achieve this in partnership with grassroots organisations that we support with mentoring, technical resources and a global perspective. Our mission is now to scale up these successful models of joint action between communities, organisations and governments. We will achieve this by building networks and coalitions at the local, national and global level.

Our team has been working successfully in social and economic development for the past thirty years, with a strong track record of delivering award-winning programs on behalf of global philanthropic foundations, governments and multilateral organisations.

We start with where people are at, rather than with where we want them to be.

Through listening and dialogue we work with them to make sense of their histories, their present-day realities and the peer reviewed science; and to forge solutions that makes most sense, in their own contexts.
